Gourmet Burger Union is a take on the Gourmet Burger Kitchen in the UK. Everything from logo to menu is suspect familiar to its UK counterpart. Their classic burger, a good size Aussie beef patty with chucky onion and crisp lettuce is the tried and true, but it was the sticky relish that stood out. $48
What out tasters said: “This place is known for their exotic burgers, but the plain beef burger is quite boring.. and dry. Unimpressive and instantly forgettable… better if you design your own and load them up with toppings… Patty too big for bun.
Overall: 3/10 $48 is too expensive for a burger that tastes of little. The cooks pressed the hell out of the patty during cooking, squeezing out all the juices that make the patty taste great. Gourmet Burger Union
